Final Double Page Spread Draft

This is my final double page spread, I have now added more text to the interview. I have changed font style, size and colour. I have also added more pictures on the right hand side and added tour dates, I have also gone through the interview to check spelling and to check whether it makes sense, I have also added page numbers and have changed the size of the title it is now bigger. I am pleased with the final double page spread now I need to evaluate my project about what i thought was good and what needs to be improved.

This is my second draft i have now made the spread bigger I need to now think about changing font, also size and colour. I also need to work on putting something in the blank spaces as there is rather a lot of space left over, I may also change background colours and add more text.

Double page Spread First Draft

Here is my first double page spread daraft, it looks okay however, the text needs to be a different colour also the background could do with being improved i also need to work on quotes and title, the fonts also need to be changed.

Final Double Page Spread Layout

This is my final layout draft, I like this the best as it is set out neatly, there will be one picture which will take up half a page, Then there will be a quote from the text. The rest will bee taken up by a jam packed interview which will be a good read for music fans. I have chosen this layout, now I need to have a think about colours, pictures font Etc. and I need to think about what should be added in the interview

Double Page Spread Layout 2

Here is my second idea, I like this as it has one page with text, the other will contain pictures and quotes from the interview. Obviously When it comes to creating my actual double page spread, I will think about the pictures, colours and content for the interview also I will look at font and font colours.

Double Page Spread Layout 1

This is my first idea for the layout plan for my double spread page interview. As you can see it is set out into pictures and text, it would be an equal proportion of text to picture. There will also be a quote from the text to engage audience to attract them to the text. There will coloured pictures to grasp the audience attention. But I have other layout ideas which I perfer but this was the first idea which came to me.

Final Content Draft

Here is my final contents draft, I have now added an editors photo, I have also added more contents and have added issue number and date. I have also added more into the editors column and I have edited pictures to make them look more clear and professional. The title is now bigger to engage audience, also Each Section is titled so the reader can look for exactly what they want they are big and bold so that they can be noticed easily.

Second Contents Page Draft.

I have changed the size of the the titles, I have also changed the background colour and have added a picture of myself.

But there is still improvement needed, I feel i need to edit the pictures to make them more stylish and i will also change background colour again as i still do not like the current colour there is also alot of space in the contents which needs to be removed It needs to have more information on the contents page.

First Draft Content

Here is my first contents page draft, its needs some improvement i may try to change colours and font styles, I also need to make Titles bigger. I need to add a way to contact the magazine via text, letter and emails so we can gain some feedback so we can try to improve the magazine each week. I also need to add a picture of myself into the editors Column. I also need to experiment with the background colours to make my contents more intersting.

I particularly like this plan as it would have an equal amount of text to picture however other details would be added to make the contents page look more professional, know I have to decide which layout plan I like the most and then use it to start creating the final draft so I can start to create my final draft.

Contents page Layout draft 2

This is another idea but it needs work it is a bit plan and needs other information like competition information and contact information but i do like the idea of the large picture which takes up half of the page as a contents page needs to be attractive and interesting it would be boreing with too much text.

Contents page Layout draft 1

This is my first idea for the layout of the contents page. This is just a rough draft of what the final draft will look like, as you can see there will be be text on the left hand side and pictures on the right, I think there will be more picture than text, the text should be brief and attractive to catch the audiences attention, this is also to gain there interest. There also needs to be the magazine logo on then contents page to make it look more professional, it will also be important to add contact information just so audience can get in touch to give us some feedback and they can use website to join in on competitions.

Draft 3 (final Draft)

This is my final draft of my cover, it is set out well. I like the minimal and simple colours, it gives the magazine a great effect especially withe the colourfully and attractive straplines, i have now also added the website address a price label for magazine and a barcode. I have also changed the Headline to a quote from the interview within the magazine to make the story look more effective and interesting. I have also made the stapline bigger and bolder to interact with its audience. The font has also been changed and improved it noe looks alot neater than before.

Now I need to come up with some contents page drafts and ideas so that i can make a decent one to be included in the magazine, firstly I will look at layouts then i will go on to think about colours, pictures etc and start to head towards final draft of my contents page.

Cover Draft 2

Here is my second draft,it is looking better however there are still improvements needed, I need to work on the magazine title font, maybe get rid of the white border. I also need to do some more work on the coverlines and strapline, after this has been done i feel it will done and completed.

New Font Styles

Here are some ideas font the main font for magazine cover logo Font, I like them all they are rustic and have a worn eroded feel to them, please help me choose by giving me some feeback :)

Front cover Draft 1

This is my first draft of the cover, I like the black and white theme I thik it works well, however I think i need to make some improvements, I think the title needs to be bigger and in a different font, I also think the headline needs to be bigger and spread across the page, also the cover line colours need to be made more viable so they are easier to read but I think overall it was a good first attempt.

Front cover picture ideas : )

I have recently been out to take some pictures for my magazine, for now I am going to focus on cover pictures, My pictures must look professional and glamourous, they must be like this to attract target audience to influence them to buy magazine.

Picture 1

I like this picture, it is very natural, as you can see the person in this picture is not showing eye contact this is because he was focusing on the guitar, which I prefer a picture like this rather then a posed picture as it is more classic. If i did use this picture i would add effect to make it more interesting though to attract more attention.

Picture 2

This is another picture I could use for my cover, i do like it but it would need to be edited as it is quite a cramped so it would need to be spaced out to be more effective. The picture is also quite a long shot so it is hard to see detail but i will lokk over all pictures and decide which is right for the cover.

This is another idea for the cover picture.

Plan For Magazine

From the feedback I have received This is the plan of action for my music magazine, The magazine will be called Encore !!! The colour scheme for my magazine will be blue and red inside the cover shall be black and white. The magazine will cost £2.00 and the magazine will contain indie and rock music. The magazine will be weekly and it will be aimed towards a mixed gender of the age s 16 to 19. Now I have to decide what layout I will use for the magazine and go out and take pictures for Cover page and double page spread, I shall take at least 7 photos and decide on which 3 or 4 I want to use.
